Fabulous experience with Allegro Medical!!

I ordered three products on Tues and got free shipping, as my order was over $50.00. I received one item via UPS the next afternoon and the other two via Fed Ex the following day. I am very impressed. Everything was perfect and I will use them for any medical supply needs in the future and will highly recommend them to others. I don't understand why I have to enter at least one hundred words to have my experience accepted. I guess angry people have more to say but I simply don't have anything but the good above to say.

I think this is a very good company. Prices are relatively cheap. I buy disposable gloves and other long-term patient care items occasionally. I get monthly deliveries of disposable under pads and foam cleansers and soaps; free shipping. I have to put in a new order every month because it's the only way to change the shipping date on the automated system. Customer service has always been good. The things I buy in cases are drop-shipped. All items ordered are FedEx'd and I get them within three days regardless of where the shipments originate. I've tried using other companies that offer similar products. Allegro Medical is the best.

Credit card wAs immediately charged. But no confirmation of order, etc.

Ordered item. Even paid for expedited shipping. Never received any order confirmation, etc, even though they took my money on the spot. All attempts at contacting them, email etcetera have gone unanswered. Not even the better business bureau deals with them anymore. Have tried contacting them almost daily., no one knees anything over the phone " but will look into it". All email communications have gone completely ignored by the company. Should gave done my research on them, they don'.t gave good reviews on the internet, unlike their website which us where the only good reviews for the company appear. Buyer beware, very shady outfit. My issue still in limbo.

Took way too long to fulfill the order, horrible customer service, once they get your money, goo luck with getting your product

My complaint is pretty much the same as many of the others. My item showed in stock And it says it will be shipped within two days on my order confirmation it also says so on the website. I waited and waited and waited and watched for confirmation of shipping which never came I spent days going round and round with customer service who was totally complacent and just kept saying the same thing over and over again "that product comes from our vendor and is not in stock and I'm waiting word of when it will ship as soon as I know I will let you know" they wouldn't even acknowledge the inconvenience they cost me and never even said "I'm sorry" I finally wrote a message to their Facebook page and got a response there but this person argued with me about the wording of their shipping fulfillment time saying it's 1-3 business days. But apparently he can't count because were seven days out and it still hasn't shipped, if we go by his rules we've still got a problem. I told them to cancel the order several times during each of my correspondence and send me a confirmation. They never did. I also requested a cancelation in the message on Facebook and send a confirmation that it has been done. Reply was that the order had already been shipped, however I still saw no confirmation of that and there was still no tracking information present on their website. 12 hours later I finally received a notice that my order has shipped. Well isn't that suspicious! Supposedly it's actually on its way now. The bottom line for me is that sometimes things happen sometimes things are out of stock even when they show that they are in stock, that's frustrating to the customer and to the company but it happens and it could've been worked out. What really irritates me about this company is complacent attitude of customer service, the way they gave me the runaround, over and over, how they argued with me, and how they were deceptive by telling me that the product actually shipped, even though it hadn't because they didn't want to cancel my order. They never took responsibility for anything and never apologize. I sure hope the product is what it's supposed to be and arrives in good shape. The other thing that concerns me is a lot of people who are ordering from them are disabled or sick, that usually means they don't have much money and they often don't have the skills or the energy to fight to get with this company should be providing for them. After reading other reviews I feel like my problem with them has been small potatoes compared to some. I really believe this company is targeting and taking advantage of elderly and sick people and that is downright shameful! I sure wish I had looked for reviews about this company before I ordered from them. Take my advice . Thinking about ordering from allegro medical? DONT DO IT!

Positive Experience Review

Wow! My experiences (8-10 so far this year) have been the exact opposite of those described by others who posted here. Great prices, frequent free shipping offers, and great customer svc on the rare occasions when I had a ? About an order. I recommend Allegro Medical highly and without reservation!!!

Shipped Wrong product and I Can't contact supplier.

Looking for a phone number or working website for this company. I ordered standard replacement armrests for my 92 year old mothers wheelchair and they shipped short armrests for a removable arm desk wheelchair. I need to exchange. The ones I need are 14.5 inches long with a bolt distance of 9 inches and what they sent are 9.75 inches long with a 6.75 bolt distance. I need to replace these quickly as her armrests are broken. Their website does not open up and I can not find a phone number for them on the invoice or online since their website does not work.

False advertising on Black Friday

Their email ad promised 30% off AND free shipping on orders over $50. I did not complete my order because a $7.95 shipping chage was on the order form. I had entered the code they posted for the special price. The 30% was also misleading, as it referred to the LIST price of the merchandise, not Allegro Medical's standard price. I had previous problems with Allegro Medical delivering my merchandise to the wrong address because their computer mangaled my information, and refusing to refund or replace it. I got no response until I complained on a complaint website AND wrote directly to their CEO.

I ordered the free sample of ALLEGRO it did NOT work I DID NOT SIGN UP FOR AUTO DEL because I CANNOT AFFORD THAT EACH MONTH NO invoice no contact info PLS ADVISE as to how to get in touch with them to CANCEL this order THEY HAD NO RIGHT

Expedited delivery and customer service ripoff

I paid $30 extra for expedited delivery (1-3 days) because I really needed them in 3 days. I was expecting them to be sent 2nd day air. The items were shipped the day that they were ordered but they were shipped ground from over 2000 miles away. Five days later, they are still somewhere between Chicago and Los Angeles. There is no way to Allegro Medical on the weekends. When I did contact Customer Service, they were no help and would not offer a refund. They stated that what I got was "Expedited Delivery" and "Standard Delivery" would have been at least two days longer.

Customer Service is defective. In July I called & cancelled reoccuring shipments. They sent them

Today,9/20/2012 I recieved another thats 2 since cancelled.I nave not recieved credit for my return of the 1st item. All I get from cust serv, is the run around.Why are these co,s allowed to operate this way? What happened to HONEST business? The GOV't. needs to stop this ***. BE careful people, this co. is trouble!!! The person I spoke to today was ANTIONETTE & SHE could not deviate from her script so i left my # &told her to have her SUPERVISOR call me. It's been an hour & NO CALL YET. They now have $120.00 of my money for medicine & I am not very happy at all. THEY ARE "CROOKS"

Horrible experience

Allegro Medical - Horrible experience

Ordered a new, unused, not refurbished humidifier. Received product in absolutely filthy condition.

I'm talking dirty brown paper towel inside unit, hard water stains all over tank, just disgusting condition. I had been on and off the phone with representatives confirming another unit on it's way for 4 weeks. After speaking with a senior support representative I was promised a refund within the week. This company really has no control over their suppliers.

It's been 3 and a half weeks since then with no refund yet. Do not order from this company expecting to have a smooth experience.

Allegro Medical is THE WORST company

I have dealt with 8-10 medical supply companies and this is the only one to ever give me a problem. After not receiving my order for 2 weeks I emailed them inquiring about its status. They assured me that they had no record of any such order. Therefore I reordered everything and received it in a few days. About a week later I received the order that they told me did not exist and was charged again. Customer service was rude and uncooperative and wanted me to pay for the return shipping even though it was THEIR MISTAKE. Since I never opened the boxes which were left on the porch I told UPS to return them as I refused them. Despite received everything back Allegro Medical still refuses to refund my money of nearly $400. It's a shame because this company has a great selection of products at good prices. But you better hope they don't mess up your order because if they do it is YOU who WILL PAY.

You are right. I bought a memory foam pillow from a TV ad.

Was not satisfied so I tried to return it but was told it was a no return item. They didn't say that on the ad.

I have purchased items online before and never had this happen. Crummy company....

Allegro Medical - one of the worst medical supply companies on the internet

Horrible customer service, very long long shipping times for medical supplies, and the discount codes are not accurate, they're already a discount medical supply co. so if it is already a discount price the code wont work so it's a little deceitful. Still decent prices though if you can handle the very bad customer service, which I dealt with when they had short shipping times but now they take a week and a half to get here so there is absolutely no reason for me personally shop there anymore. Check out their reviews on line, I'm not the only complaint.

Avoid Allegro Medical like the plague!

I ordered 5 items on 05/10/11. By 06/01/20, only 4 of the 5 items had arrived. Additionally, 2 of the 4 items were something different than expected. Regarding the missing item, a customer service rep apologized and stated it would be shipped immediately. The item arrived 3 days later. My second problem related to an incorrect item I ordered. I ordered the incorrect item because an Allegro customer service rep provided me with the incorrect Allegro item number. I was told the correct items (which were cheaper) would be shipped and to discard the incorrect item because it wasn't cost effective to have them returned. As of 06/21 they hadn't arrived. I spoke w/ Ashley in customer service who said no replacements would be shipped because I made the mistake & ordered the wrong item. I only ordered the wrong item because THEY gave me the wrong item number. Rude, arrogant & obnoxious. She is EVERYTHING that exemplifies horrible customer service -- all over less than $6 worth of merchandise. Their prices are high & they do NOT value their customers.

Sent wrong item and no follow-through so I can return it

I ordered an Omron HEM-711AC blood pressure monitor from Allegro Medical. It was done on-line on 4/17/11 and they charged me an additional $24 for "expedited shipping". I received the UPS delivery on 4/20 and there was an Omron BP742 in the box. I called the following day and the customer service representative agreed that I had not received the item I ordered. She said she would arrange for me to ship the item back and the model I had ordered to be sent to me. Then I received an e-mail from her saying that she had called the warehouse in California and the HEM-711AC was "not available" so they had sent the BP742 instead! (I was never contacted as to whether this "substitution" was acceptable.) In the same e-mail, I was told that a prepaid shipping label would be sent to me by Tuesday (4/26) and as of Friday, I still haven't received the promised shipping label. Belatedly, I decided to check customer reviews on this company and found similar experiences to mine. Several individuals said the only way they were able to resolve their problems with Allegro Medical was to make a complaint with the Arizona Better Business Bureau so I submitted it on-line last night. I usually order from Amazon and from now on, if it's not available through Amazon, I just won't get it!!

:) That sucks... THere are better, more reputable companies out there that are family owned that really take pride in serving their customers. Don't write off everyone just because you got screwed by a cookie cutter internet store
